Optical bonding for a defined display stack
We assess the interface between display, touch sensor and cover lens before selecting a process route. The objective is a stable, inspectable assembly designed around the real operating conditions.

What optical bonding changes
Optical bonding replaces the air gap between display layers with a transparent bonding medium. This reduces reflection at internal interfaces and can improve the mechanical coherence of the stack. The final result still depends on the display, cover lens, coatings, enclosure and ambient conditions.

FOCUS / 01
Silicone OCR
Often considered when geometry, compliance or larger gaps make a liquid process relevant. Review focus: material compatibility, cure, edge design and handling.
Inputs for a meaningful review
Share what is already defined. Missing inputs can be identified during the first review rather than blocking it.
- Display and touch-sensor part numbers
- Active area, outline and available drawings
- Cover-lens material, printing and coatings
- Operating and storage environment
- Expected quantities and project stage
- Inspection, cosmetic and test expectations

From sample to repeat build
A sample build should answer defined questions. These may include visual quality, material compatibility, touch performance, cosmetic acceptance or mechanical integration. Repeat production follows only when inputs, process controls and acceptance criteria are agreed.
View quality & processFrequently asked questions
Which display sizes can be bonded?
Feasibility depends on dimensions, weight, thickness, geometry and process route. We review the exact stack rather than publishing an unqualified diagonal limit.
Can an existing display be used?
Often, but its construction, surface treatment, bezel, polariser and handling requirements must be reviewed first.
Does optical bonding improve outdoor readability?
It can reduce internal reflections, but brightness, cover-lens coatings, surface finish and viewing conditions remain part of the complete optical system.
